8th English
A new adventure is beginning! Because this is my second year teaching 8th grade English, we still get to experiment a bit. We will mostly focus on grammar, especially the basic parts of speech like nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, etc. We will use our textbooks for lots of practice and application. Hopefully we'll be able to try some new activities too. Others subjects we will cover include vocabulary and spelling, two very important aspects of our language! Plan on doing some creative writing too! In the spring, I plan to incorporate some literature as well. There are so many good books "out there" to choose from so I'm not quite sure what we'll do first. So, hang on as we begin our new adventure!
